This patter was first introduced in 1954 by designer Mathias Gerhard "Tias" Eckhoff (1926-2016). Eckhoff won the competition to design a flatware pattern in honor of the 50th anniversary of Georg Jensen being in the business. This pattern was officially discontinued in 1994.
